The eGO Helio is a beautifully crafted 21st Century scooter, constructed using aircraft-grade aluminium with a 10-year guarantee. You just twist the throttle and away you go, smoothly and quietly, at speeds of up to 25mph.

The Helio's power pack is designed to withstand many hundreds of charge/discharge cycles and - so long as you condition the batteries properly - will typically provide more than 8,000 miles of riding. For someone doing a 16-mile trip each day, that's 500 charges at a total cost of around £35 in electricity consumed, or less than half a penny a mile.

The Helio comes with either Classic or Racing (five-spoke alloy) wheels. Cost is the same.
